I'm sitting watching a show on The History Channel talking about John Hinckley - the guy that tried to assassinate Reagan. What an idiot! Apparently, according to this documentary, the wacko got the idea to go all hit-man because he watched Robert DeNiro in Taxi Driver (you know...the movie with the "You talkin to me?" line in it). His whole delusional transition occurred while he was attending college at Texas Tech University (is this REALLY that shocking? Gives new meaning to "Get Your Guns Up").
He supposedly attempted the assassination to impress Jodi Foster. Yep, the actress. He fell in love with Jodi watching, yet again, Taxi Driver. He actually went to Yale so he could stalk her.

There are some really crazy people out there! They all don't have to be murderers to qualify, but loonies like this guy...like Nancy Pelosi, Sean Penn, Ahmedinejhad, Osama Bin Laden...real nutcases! Be on the lookout!!!!
