Geez! Okay...my and Lindsay's engagement has been exciting...but I'm ready for the wedding to get here already! Bring on the vows, the rings, the cake, the bubbles, and Mexico. I know most of my closest friends are already married (heck...most of you are having babies now) and probably felt the same way. OF COURSE, none of you warned me about the strain and stress of the wait! I'm thinking about crossing you all off the list and revoking your invitations. Can you say "350 Pound Bouncer" at the door???
Okay maybe nothing that drastic...but I seriously wish August 1st would hurry and arrive...
Speaking of, we picked out my ring today. Lindsay had a dream the other night that we got to the wedding and she had no ring to give me. Because of Linds' little premonition, we asked about delivery time. The sales lady told us that the special ordered rings can take 6 to 8 weeks to get. We told her that the wedding was August 1st...and she exclaimed "Oh, it will be no problem getting a ring here before then...plenty of time!"

Maybe my math is wrong, but isn't August 1st exactly 7 weeks from June 13th???? Doesn't that fall between 6 and 8 weeks? CONCERN!!!! Anyway, lets hope my dear fiancee isn't psychic. If I don't have a ring for the wedding, I'm proceeding straight to a convenience store to have Linds pick lottery numbers before the ceremony starts. I don't care if she's in her dress already or not.
We also met with the caterer and got pretty close to finalizing the menu for the wedding reception. Big day in the planning process. Only 6 more weeks of planning to go!!! Ugh.....
